HOCKEY SEASON

The Detroit Red Wings launched the 2007-2008 season this past tuesday with a shaky victory over defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Ducks of Aneheim. Though the wings dominated the game, they struggled to score goals and the game was deadlocked 2-2 after regulation time. The overtime period proved no more relevant. In the ensuing overtime, flashy European imports Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg failed to produce, and Dominik Hasek was forced to make several death defying saves; the Ducks were puting up quite a fight for their first win on US soil of this season. Enter Jiri Hudler. 0 for 3 in career shootout attempts. zero percent.

I'm pretty busy with school and stuff lately (French and Math mostly :( ) so unfortunately I'll be uploading photos less often now. I don't regret it; French is going to be a challenge for me and I'll be needing all the extra studying I can get.

I'd also like to mention French Alternative band KYO. I first heard them on FIFA 06 and I've recently decided to listen to them again since I'm taking French, and they're by all accounts fantastic. I recomend the songs Contact, Je Cours (I Run), and Chaque Seconde (Every Second). A
